It feels kind of strange to be blogging an outfit that definitely doesn't match the weather we had today. It is downright cold outside! Nevertheless, I did wear this outfit...last week, when the weather was more bearable. (I'm already dreading what winter means when it comes to outfit posts!) I've been cramming in as many outfits as possible when we have nice weather, but it seems to slowly be ending... At least it hasn't snowed (yet).
Anyway, I originally planned on layering a different top underneath this dress, but I decided to try that combo on one weekend morning and found that it did not work at all like I had envisioned. I've been wanting to try the top-under-dress look and remembered this sweater. What do you think of the look? I liked it, but it felt a little bit out of my comfort zone. I am a big fan of the color scheme (what else is new, though? Ha!). I want to try the look with some of my other dresses--maybe with a collared shirt next time?
