It's snow wonder

Winter is definitely here, as evidenced by the many inches of snow around me! We had a storm come through that dropped nearly a foot in one night and then continued all the next day and following night. The roads were a MESS. I would like snow a lot more if it didn't cause such a mess (or if our transportation department did a better job dealing with the roads...anyway...I digress).

You can probably tell that I'm kind of on a dress/skirt kick lately with my outfits! Every winter outfit I've blogged so far has featured either a dress or skirt. I promise it's not on purpose; I've been wearing pants nearly every day in between! I just have many "blogworthy" outfit ideas not featuring pants. I do have to admit that fleece-lined tights/leggings are my savior. I swear that when it's not too cold out (i.e. above freezing), the tights are actually warmer than pants. Plus, they're soft and stretchy and don't feel like pants, which is sometimes what I'm going for. I have only one pair of fleece-lined tights and one pair of fleece-lined leggings, and I definitely think I need more. I picked these pairs up at Nordstrom Rack, but a quick search results in variations at many other major retailers. You really can't go wrong with a pair or two when the temperatures drop and you want to avoid pants! ;)
