White eyelet
When I first saw this skirt in the window at my local J.Crew, I had to do a double take, and honestly, that hasn't happened a lot lately. I went in and felt the skirt and was surprised to discover how substantial it felt. I added it to my wishlist later that night and watched for a good sale ever since. I ended up purchasing the skirt in a petite size since the regular looked like it would be overwhelming on me, and I'm happy I went with that since the extra couple inches of leg really do help, I think. My least favorite part is definitely the exposed zipper, but since I don't stare at my back it hasn't really bothered me that much. :)
For its first outing, I wore the skirt with my new blue tee I purchased in NYC, added cognac accessories, and finished the look with my sun hat since we were going to the farmer's market. I have a lot of tops, but for some reason I did not have a bold blue tee! And, since we all know blue is one of my favorite colors, I felt the need to remedy that when I visited & Other Stories (the tee is now on sale and available in multiple colors; sizing is comparable to H&M, for reference). I love how this look came together.
