Classics: light blue popover shirt, black mini skirt, black loafers, monogram necklace -- Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

Can't go wrong with the classics, amirite? Nothing says summer to me like a light collared blouse, mini skirt, and flats. You may recall that this outfit formula is one of my signature looks for this spring and summer! This outfit is perfect for beating the heat and looking put-together for a meeting with my advisor and our collaborator. I will admit that I normally just wear whatever I please, meetings aside, but it is nice to feel more put-together than usual!

I do realize how I just talked about the length of my striped red dress and how I find it inappropriate for school...and then I wear this skirt, which is about the same length. I swear it feels longer than the dress. I think it's because it's not as tight, and it doesn't ride up like the dress does, so it doesn't feel quite as risque!
