Embellished

We had spring-like temperatures the last few days, so I was beyond excited to pull out my new embellished bomber jacket—and not need to layer a heavier jacket over it! I purchased this jacket at the end of January after mulling over it for a couple of weeks. I wanted to add another lightweight jacket option to the rotation and thought this fit the bill. It would be the perfect jacket if it had pockets, but I still adore the interest the jewels add. :)

It took me entirely too long to put this outfit together the other day. I ended up with a super simple base of a light sweater, cuffed skinny jeans, and loafers to let the jacket shine (ha). I debated adding earrings, but I wanted the jacket to be the star, so I didn't add any accessories. It's funny that I put this much thought into my outfits when all I do is sit at a computer all day, and my office mates pay absolutely no attention to what I wear. I do enjoy making thoughtful decisions about what I wear, though, and figure that at some point in the future the way I present myself might matter more...!
