How to Style Florals for Easter
Chris and I hosted a little Easter party with our friends during the afternoon on Sunday. We made the ham and fried dough (a favorite from Chris's family) and provided a small cheese plate, and everyone else brought the rest of the goodiesโeverything from deviled eggs to roasted vegetables, mac and cheese to potatoes, and of course, dessert! It was a ton of fun and especially meaningful since one of our friends is moving across the country next week with his family. He was a colleague of mine, and I'll definitely miss working (or not working...ha!) with/next to him.
Easter Outfit Idea: Floral Dress
For the occasion, I was really excited to wear a combination I came up with only a few days prior. I could not believe I hadn't yet worn this combination! A navy cropped sweater + a navy floral dress = a total "duh" outfit, especially for Easter. How could I not wear them together?! (And I love wearing dresses as skirts!) I was a bit torn on the shoes (and to be perfectly honest, I didn't wear any during the party), but I liked the look of neutral flats. I added my new favorite stud earrings and felt festive without being too festive. Unfortunately, my dry eye has been acting up lately so you'll be seeing a lot of these sunglasses.

Here are a bunch of other outfits Iโve worn featuring floral tops, floral dresses, and floral skirts! Any of these would be perfect for Easter or any other springtime event. While itโs fun to pair florals with denim and neutral colors, itโs also fun to mix them up with other bright colors and patterns! Click on each image to check out the original post.
