Canopy of cherry trees

Within the past week, it seems like everything has finally come back to life. Trees are sprouting their leaves, flowers are emerging from their beds, and birding are chirping in the warmth of the sun. I couldn't be happier to see spring make an appearance! Chris and I took full advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a walk under a canopy of cherry blossoms.

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Earth in the hopes that we could continue our partnership for a second year. Because I love my Earthies sandals from the 2015 spring/summer collection so much, I happily obliged and immediately had a difficult decision to make. I ended up choosing the Earth 'Seaside' sandal in white; I didn't have a pair of white sandals and I knew I would reach for them often if I had a pair. I love the fun beading; it adds some sparkle without making the sandal too busy. As with my sandals from last year, these are incredibly comfortable. I wore them all day at school, walked home in them, and then walked around downtown for a while. My feet could not have been happier! If you're interested in snagging a pair for yourself, I found them to be true to size.

For their first outing, I wore the sandals with another look featuring a dress layered over a tee, as I hinted to on Instagram. I'm so happy we had a nice day so I could wear this outfit! I have at least two other outfits planned with these sandals, so I already know they were the perfect addition to my spring/summer shoe collection. :)
