Cashmere and cherry blossoms
Even though I've lived in Utah for nearly five years, I only realized last year that there were Yoshino cherry trees lining the gravel path around the state capitol (remember this outfit?). I knew I wanted to try to make it back this year in the relatively short window of time the trees are blooming. While my boyfriend was in town a couple of weekends ago, we made it a point to stop—but it ended up being quite chilly outside!
Knowing that we were going to shoot outfit photos with the cherry trees, I wanted to come up with an outfit that went along with the blossoms. It was a bit harder to think of something since the weather wasn't as warm as I had hoped. I wanted it to be springy, but couldn't think of anything until I spotted my dark floral skirt. This skirt was my first Amour Vert purchase nearly two years ago and really what started my addiction to the brand. Of course I had to wear this skirt; the flowers on it look a whole lot like cherry blossoms! I added my blush pink cashmere sweater for warmth (and also needed tights to keep my legs from freezing). I'm happy that I got to see (and match) the cherry blossoms one more time before I move this summer. :)
