Recycled Fleece from Everlane
A year after Everlane released their ReNew collection of garments made from recycled polyester, I finally made my first purchase: this cozy fleece raglan sweatshirt. This sweatshirt style is a new addition this year; last year, an oversized version with dropped shoulders was introduced. I was tempted by it (especially the gorgeous brick color) but ultimately thought that the style wouldn’t quite work on my broad shoulders. This one, though? Yes please! I originally purchased it in a size XS (and reviewed it here), but I decided to try and keep a size small for a little more room in the shoulders.
In the past two weeks, I’ve worn it five times…ha! It’s all I want to wear right now. Can you blame me, though? It’s perfectly cozy for the cool fall weather we’ve been having. I love wearing it with my almost equally-as-comfortable bootcut jeans from Madewell. I’ve worn these a lot more than I had anticipated! I suppose that I’m trying to get as much wear as I can before the cold really hits and I’m stuck in boots. Sock booties would look so cute with these jeans, though…
I finished the look with my favorite navy ‘Kitty’ flats and matching vintage Coach bag for an afternoon coffee run at one of our favorite spots downtown, Form and Function. I always get my go-to chai, and Korri goes for the mocha. I could go for another one right about now!
