Decembrrr
We got our first measurable snowfall of the fall/winter this past weekend (other than a rogue storm that happened one morning at the end of October, which I don’t really count since it only hit part of the city). We didn’t get too much snow, thank goodness! I’m not ready for a full blown storm yet. But my snow tires are on just in case. ;)
The accompanying cold made it the perfect opportunity to finally wear my new Everlane Re:Down Puffy Puff. I purchased it in October (you may have seen this post) and really wasn’t sure about it for a while; I love the color, but I was worried about how versatile it would be because it’s quite bold! That’s how I usually am when I add a non-neutral color to my wardrobe…I want to make sure it’s a color that has staying power in my wardrobe. Since it’s a coat, it needs to work for three seasons and also go with many items in my closet. I was worried that this spice color would only work for fall and not winter and spring (Korri put that worry into my head!), but I ran a poll on Insta stories and everyone assured me that it would be fine to wear in those months, haha! Thank you for assuring (and enabling) me.
It truly is a gorgeous coat—plus it’s super lightweight yet still very warm! I especially appreciate the hood and roomy pockets. Here I wore it with my fuzzy fleece jacket, black denim, and fuzzy lace-up boots. Truly, the best part of fall and winter is getting to wear all the puffy and fuzzy things!
