Sapphire

I have this thing with blue…if that wasn’t already painfully obvious. ;) Blue in all its shades is my favorite color, and it’s also one of my favorite colors to wear! (It’s the third most popular color in my closet after white and black.) Since I’m a September baby, my birthstone is blue sapphire, and to say I’m obsessed with sapphire is an understatement. It’s by far my favorite gem…and yes, I am definitely biased, haha.

As part of a collaboration I published at the end of July, I ordered myself a pair of gorgeous blue sapphire and gold stud earrings from AUrate. I knew immediately that these simple, eye-catching studs would be a welcome addition to my everyday jewelry collection! They are so beautiful and feel very high quality. I feel like a proper adult with real gemstone jewelry now, just in time for my 30th birthday in a few short weeks. (Yikes, how did that happen?!)

I was feelin’ the blues when putting together the rest of my outfit…save for the sandals, which I’m trying to wear as many days as I can before the weather turns! I’m going to miss them once fall hits.
