Welcome :)

I started writing my first real post, and then I decided I should probably do one of the cliche "Welcome to my blog!" type of posts. I recently had my birthday, and as I dive deeper into the world of being a twenty-something, I finally decided to actually blog. No more thinking about it and talking about it. Now I am actually going to do it, in addition to thinking about it and talking about it. I know there are a LOT of bloggers out there. It's pretty overwhelming, actually, thinking about all of the bloggers and all of the blogs. There are plenty twenty-somethings blogging about their twenty-something lives. I guess I just wanted to add my voice to the blog world.

I'm going to talk a lot about my life, which revolves mostly around graduate school, my cats, and my relatively recent obsession with my personal style. It probably won't even be remotely interesting at times, so thank you in advance if you decide to follow me. I enjoyed creative writing a lot when I was younger, but I haven't been doing it a lot these past few years. Since college started, I've been writing mostly scientifically, and I REALLY need to write creatively again. There are only so many dry sentences I can put together before I must add a colorful adjective to spice things up.

And that's why this blog was born.
