Drop everything now

And, as Taylor Swift would say, meet me in the pouring rain. ;) Well, it was actually pouring rain during this photo session. It hadn't rained at all until the afternoon, and I wanted to get pictures of me with my matching rain boots and umbrella when the ground was actually wet, because how dumb would I look if it was sunny and dry?! The problem was that the rain didn't let up once it started. I'm not sure exactly how much rain fell, but it was a lot. And poor Chris was soaked and unhappy with the fact that I wanted pictures when the ground was wet. (I mean, I would have preferred if Mother Nature rained and then stopped for a few minutes, but no. It was a deluge.) He's basically a rockstar.

I'm not really sure if we are still in winter. It's felt like April for the past two weeks or so. This time of year is always so wishy-washy when it comes to weather here. I'm not complaining now, but I will be complaining if it's 30-40 degrees at the beginning of April. Fingers crossed that those temps are gone until the fall! I'm actually really looking forward to April because I have a remix challenge planned. It's going to be a little bit different from the usual 30x30 challenge. I'll be posting about it in a couple of weeks! I'm hoping it'll help me curb my shopping or at least help me figure out the major holes in my wardrobe so I'm not just buying all of the pretty things.
