Gobble gobble
Simple and not very exciting is basically the name of the game right now. It's been quite a while since I've featured this top, which is odd because I wear it so much! I guess it's because I always wear it in outfits like these, which are relatively boring and "normal", haha. It's getting down to the end of the month so my inspiration is running dry and outfits like these are about the best you'll see from here on out.

Yesterday, I flew to southern California to spend Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family and celebrate my grandpa's 80th birthday. Here's what I wore for a day full of traveling (by plane, train, and automobile) followed by indulging in authentic Mexican food and drinks (margaritas, of course!). The outfit I wore today (which ended up not being the outfit I had originally planned--more below) was the outfit I was planning on wearing yesterday, but I switched up the order because of tomorrow's outfit. Sometimes this remix chain can be a real pain. ;)
P.S. Thanks to my momma for taking photos for me! And that's Buddy, my grandparents' dog--he decided to make a cameo. :)

Happy Thanksgiving, lovely readers! :) I'm so thankful for each and every one of you! I can't believe how many of you tune in to my blog after just a year of writing it. Thank you, thank you!
As I mentioned above, I'm spending Thanksgiving in southern California. I'm by the ocean, so I knew it wasn't going to be really hot; however, today is the warmest day this weekend at right around 80 degrees, and we went inland for Thanksgiving dinner, where it was ten degrees hotter. This is what I wore, which is not what I had originally planned surprisingly enough. (I forgot to pack the shirt I was going to wear under my sweater, and I decided against wearing my ankle boots.) I seriously planned this terribly. I forgot what this kind of heat felt like! Even though shorts would have been a better idea, these pants were a fantastic idea--stretchy and oh-so comfortable. I can't recommend the J.Crew Pixie pants more!
