Two bloggers, one garment: Bird-print dress
I have a really fun new mini series happening this week! After much internal deliberation, I've decided to call it "Two bloggers, one garment"--and it's exactly what it sounds like it is. I teamed up with some of my blogger buddies to style the same (or very similar) garment in our own ways. Pretty fun, right?!
First up is the beautiful and delightful Carly of Let Us Wanderlust. When she's not gallivanting around the world and sharing her amazing travels, she's living in the countryside of Queensland, Australia, with her now-husband and sharing bits of her personal style and home life. I absolutely adore Carly! We go way back to nearly the very beginning of my blog, and I was so excited that she agreed to do this with me even though she was planning a wedding/getting married/heading off on her honeymoon all in the past week!
We both own bird-print dresses, so we decided to style those up--one way for fall (because it's fall here in the Northern Hemisphere), and one way for spring (for the Southern Hemisphere). I took my look a little bit edgy and added my leather jacket and black ankle boots, finishing the look with my gold choker. Carly looks perfectly springy with her hat and sandals. Be sure to check out her full post with outfit details!
My outfit details: Guess jacket via Wilsons Leather (similar leather option; similar faux leather option) / ASOS dress (old; similar; last seen here) / Sam Edelman boots / J.Crew choker (love this choker; last seen here) / LOFT sunglasses
