Blue me away

I wore this outfit last week, prior to the onset of the monsoon (obviously!). The monsoon came fast and it has been cold and rainy the past few days. It's going to clear out and warm up a bit for the weekend, which is ideal, as we are planning on hitting up the state fair! I'm really excited to indulge in super sweet fair food and coo at farm animals.

For this look, I was again inspired by how Jessica mixed up her scarf (see how I wore mine with a sun hat here). I realized that I really don't wear warm-weather scarves all that often. As much as I tried to be a warm-weather scarf person, I'm just not. I don't like having something wrapped around my neck unless I'm freezing cold. I loved how Jess tied her scarf over her dress; it's not bulky around the neck at all and still adds interest like a necklace would. So, I pulled out my floral scarf for another spin--this time with my bright cobalt dress--and loved the result!
