The color of the season
You have probably noticed by now that I've been wearing a whole lot of burgundy so far this season. Not surprisingly, it's one of my favorite colors to wear in the fall/winter, and because of that, it's one of the main colors in my fall style sudoku. It kind of acts like a neutral, I think... I wear it with basically any color! Is there a color that wouldn't work with burgundy? Probably like a bright yellow or lime green, haha... Good thing I don't wear a lot of those colors. ;)
I'm glad that as far as colored pants goes, burgundy is still in. As is olive. I think it must be because, like I said, it's kind of a neutral (and so is olive). Do you think other colored pants will be making a return anytime soon? (To be honest, they may not have gone completely out of style here in Utah...!)
I love how the outfits in my style sudoku are limited to four items. Sometimes I overthink the elements that go into the outfits I wear on any given day, but each outfit in the style sudoku is already put together and feels complete even though they're simple and some of them don't even include jewelry or a "third piece". This outfit is a great example of what my typical fall "uniform" would look like: sweater + skinny pants + flats + simple necklace.
Madewell sweater (old; similar) and pants (similar; last seen here) / Vince Camuto loafers via Nordstrom (old; similar or shop more black loafers) / Soko necklace via Amour Vert (shop more pendant necklaces) / Moorea Seal sunglasses (similar by Le Specs)
