'Tis the best time of year: When the weather is perfect for long-sleeved tops and bare legs. I don't know why, but it's my absolute favorite outfit combination. You could just as easily wear a short-sleeved top and a cardigan or light jacket, but one layer of long sleeves is way more fun! And as much as I like layering (since layered outfits always appear more interesting), sometimes it's nice to keep things easy.
Story time! I took this bag with me to Canada, and it endured a little bit of a mishap. It ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time—in the middle of a wine glass spillage/breakage. While the glass hit the floor and not inside of my bag (thank goodness), the outside still ended up with some streaks of red wine. It was kind of ironic, really, since the color of my bag is 'mulled wine', but I still wanted to get it off nonetheless. Spit ended up working pretty well in a pinch. (Note: I hadn't been drinking at all, if you were wondering. Haha.) But now, looking at these photos, it still seems like there's a dark spot right in the middle. Agh! I swear it's really difficult to see in real life unless you really look for it. Guess it may be time to try the club soda trick? Are there any tricks you know of for removing red wine from leather?
P.S. Thanks so much to everyone who has filled out my reader survey! I'll leave it up for a few more days if you haven't gotten around to taking it yet. I really appreciate your feedback. :)
