The cold has come in fast and hard, and there appears to be no end in the near future. We only get brief breaks when a warm front comes through and raises the temperature up to the 40s. Ugh. Fall, why did you have to leave us so quickly this year?

One way I keep warm in this unseasonable cold is to layer on everything cozy. This wool cardigan and chunky wool scarf make a perfect winter pair. There's something I love about wearing lots of texture at this time of year, and the extra texture in this outfit make it appear especially luxe. If I were to repeat this outfit, though, I'd definitely switch out the flats for a pair of boots. It ended up being a bit too cold for flats on this day, haha.
