Happy Earth Day! As an Earth scientist and avid recycler, I'm glad we have a day dedicated to our great planet. :) In honor of today, I'm so excited to share with you my recent purchase from Amour Vert: this striped tee featuring a side tie! How adorable is it?! I'm obsessed. If you've been following for at least a week, I'm sure you recognize my other Amour Vert purchase: this dark floral skirt I bought from Piperlime last year. I didn't really explore the brand much after I bought the skirt, but I decided to check out their website earlier this year and I fell in love with their mission. They use eco-friendly (and luxurious) fabrics, are dedicated to sustainable practices, and make their garments right here in the US! (And, yes, their name is French... It means 'Green Love' of course!) I really wish I could fill my closet with ethically-made clothing, but until I can afford that, I will gladly add a new piece every now and then. Because it is Earth day and I'm sharing my new eco-friendly wardrobe addition, I decided to shoot these photos in a beautiful garden surrounded by lots of greenery and budding blooms. Not pictured: The many buzzing flies and bees enjoying the fresh flowers, too. (I definitely thought I would get stung standing next to this gorgeous tree!) The slightly cropped tee worked perfectly with my high-rise skinny jeans, and I pulled out my new sandals since the weather was amazing. It actually felt more like summer these past couple of days!
