Death of the ridge
A fall-like cold front came through this past Sunday that killed the ridge we were in and resulted in a very below-normal high temperature on Monday. The high was only 76 degrees! It was nice to get a taste of the cooler temperatures that are coming in a few shorts months, but I have to admit that I'm not ready for it to be chilly again quite yet. As much as I love fall, I absolutely dread winter...
I took advantage of the beautiful weather by pulling out my blue-grey cotton-linen pants. I knew I wanted to wear them with my lace-up espadrilles, but I had a really hard time picking out just the right top to finish the look. I ended up pulling out this really old ivory tank top; because of the cream ties on my espadrilles, I really didn't want to wear white, which would have been my default with these pants as seen in this outfit from last summer. I ended up also wearing a cardigan during the day to keep away the chill. It felt crazy to wear layers at this time of year!
