Happy September! Can you believe we are already two-thirds of the way through 2016?! I'm shocked at how quickly each month seems to be passing. I'm super excited for this month, though, since it's my birthday month and the weather is usually perfect (some summery days, some cooler days). I love all the hints of fall that appear in September. :)

Luckily, we had a few cooler days recently that allowed me to finally wear this outfit that I've been planning since I bought this tee last winter! Once I acquired this skirt last month, I knew it had to become a reality sooner rather than later. I adore the Everlane cotton poplin skirt; it's such a fun shape that veers slightly into 'bell' territory, and even though it wrinkles pretty easily, the fabric is thick and beautiful. (And it has really deep pockets!) 

I'm (clearly) obsessed with my gold shoes and thought my metallic J.Crew 'Gemma' flats complimented the navy well. Even though my exact pair is long gone, J.Crew has a similar option available now, and I linked to more gold flats below if you happen to be in the market. They give me so much pep in my step when I wear them!
