An evening on Capitol Hill

From one state capital to another...! Greetings from my current residence: Salt Lake City, Utah. The capitol is situated on a hill just north of downtown, and the property is surrounded by beautiful cherry blossom trees that are breathtaking when they bloom in the spring. I thought this was the perfect location to take my second pair of shoes from Earth Brands out for a spin. As I mentioned in my previous post, Earth Brands recently launched a social media campaign—#WhereOnEarthRU—and I figured I needed to share where I currently reside! ;)

I have to admit: This outfit didn't come together as easily as the outfit featuring my navy Earthies 'Tolo' flats, and I'm not sure why! Maybe it's because I don't wear brown as much as navy, or maybe it's because these flats are slightly darker than my go-to brown, cognac. Either way, once I picked up this plaid top from Madewell last week, I knew it was just what these shoes needed. (Also, navy is a no-fail color for me, clearly!) I love perfect weather days like this one where the temperature hits the mid-70s and an outfit like this is all that you need to be comfortable and tackle the day.
