How to Wear Autumn Textures

Whew! I just had one of those weekends where I need a weekend to unwind from the weekend. You know what I mean? It was basically nonstop! I had family in town, and we had our first air show in over 20 years (featuring the Thunderbirds and Canadian Snowbirds), so you could say things were exciting around here. I barely had time to wash the towels (and sleep, ugh...I could use a couple of days of sleep to be honest).

Autumn Textures Fall Outfit

One of my favorite parts of the weekend, aside from the activities, was finally pulling out my favorite cable knit sweater! As much as I'm sad about the imminent cold, I'm ecstatic to surround myself in cozy sweaters, and this one is my absolute favorite of the bunch (though the Everlane waffle knit cashmere may rival it, haha...I'll find out soon!). 

I decided to combine the sweater with a bunch of other fall textures: a felt hat, corduroy pants, and velvet boots. I'm obsessed with the color combination, too. Does it get any more fall than this?
