November Total = $52 ($107 - $55 earned from Poshmark)
$241 ($500 quarterly budget - $259 overspent) - $0 (September) - $189 (October) - $52 (November) = $0!
Those Poshmark sales from October helped me not go over budget this quarter! (I only made one sale this month, boo.) My lack of shopping this month surprised me. I think I just got too overwhelmed and didn't really end up taking advantage of any sale because I was unprepared. Oh well; saving money isn't a bad thing. ;) I did end up placing an order on Cyber Monday with a new-to-me brand and I'm hoping the pieces I got work out!
Three of the five pieces I added to my wardrobe this month went on even better sale last weekend, naturally... Ah well. I got all of my J.Crew Factory pieces for half off. I'm not always a huge fan of their clothes, but I think they do accessories so well. The necklace will be perfect during the holidays, the earmuffs are so warm and fit my head well, and the hat is just cute. I do wish the hat was less long, if that makes sense? The pompom kind of slouches in the back and I wish it fit snug on my head so the pompom sat on top without sagging. It's a minor thing but worth noting. I love the ivory/brown color combination!
I bought a second color in my favorite Olivia Moon blazer (via Nordstrom). It was an extra 20% off last weekend, and they wouldn't price match. Ah well. I'm excited to have a grey blazer option. I love my black blazer so much and I hope I wear this one just as much! I bought size small petite—same size as my black blazer—and it fits the same. The length doesn't feel/look that petite on me so I think they run long! The sleeve length is perfect, though.
I placed a Grana order for the softest sweater ever and a pair of cashmere joggers that I've been wearing every day after work. I also grabbed another tee for my boyfriend—he lives in their pima crewneck tees! The sweater fits true to size for a slightly oversized fit (I got an XS), and I got the joggers in size small but they did stretch out a bit. I didn't want them to be skin-tight.
There's only one month left in the year, and somehow I've only added 47 items to my closet this year! Last year I added 70 items, and one of my goals for this year was to add fewer items. Unless I win the lottery, I don't think I'll be getting anywhere near 70 this year. ;) I keep track of all of my wardrobe additions on Pinterest; it's a fun way to look back on everything I add to my closet.
