Summer uniform
Lately, I've been wearing skirts pretty much every day and it's starting to feel like my unofficial summer uniform. The previous two outfits I blogged also featured skirts. I think it's my brain's subtle way of telling me to wear all of the items I won't be able to wear to work if I end up getting the job I interviewed for... (Cue me freaking out a little bit, haha.)
A couple of weeks ago, I was going through my closet after organizing it and doing a little bit of outfit planning. I pulled out this shirt in particular because I wanted to wear it over my black Natori 'Feathers' bra, thinking that I could finally wear the cool-girl-with-a-visible-bra outfit (whenever I wear it with white denim, the white shows through really well, so I assumed black would show through well too). Welllll... you can barely tell I'm wearing a black bra! It's funny how many times I've tried this outfit and failed (I think my first attempt was the closest to being the look I was going for). Oh well, haha. Despite the bra fail and the extremely hot temperatures, I still love how this outfit came together. I didn't add any accessories because nothing felt quite right, though I think my simple studs would have looked fine. I'm in desperate need of more simple earring choices!
Today is my boyfriend's birthday, and you can bet I'm wearing another skirt! ;) Can't stop, won't stop...
