As you can probably tell by the fact that I have no photos with my coat unzipped and without both of my hands in my pockets, winter is back. Wah-wah. The only upside to winter coming back so late in the season is the fact that the sun is up higher and longer, so it's not nearly as cold as it would be in January. That's keeping the major accumulating snow at bay. I'm cool with rain because the mountains really need all the snow they can get!

In other news, today is the heavily-commercialized day of love! We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, but Korri did get me a card and poured me a glass of wine to enjoy in the evening, so that's pretty sweet. ;) I can't even remember the last time I had wine! I made dinner and scolded him when he turned off the Olympics to play Xbox (for the record, I won, and the Olympics stayed on...side note: isn't snowboard cross crazy to watch?!). What can I say? Life is all about compromise and balance, haha.

I couldn't help but wear a color-appropriate outfit to commemorate Valentine's Day. The cold made for a good excuse to pull out my blush pink cashmere sweater and top it with my burgundy coat (previously worn together in December 2016).
