Can you say wind? Whew! It was blowing something fierce, and normally I don't shoot when it's really windy, but it was a rare cloudy evening...and is there anything a style blogger loves more than a warm, cloudy day? It's perfect outfit shooting weather! Shooting in the summer is definitely more difficult because we can go weeks without a cloud in the sky, and I don't have a whole lot of standard shoot locations that are shady. So, I'll take what I can get, even if there was absolutely no way that my hair was going to look good. ;)

Wind aside, let's talk about weekends. Weekends are my favorite for many reasons, as I'm sure they are for you, too, but one of the main reasons is that I get a chance to pull out my shorter hemlines. I have a variety of shorts, mini skirts, and short dresses that don't see the light during the week (unless I have some reason to go out after work, which doesn't happen often). I find myself changing clothes multiple times on weekend days if we have multiple plans just so I can wear all of my fun summer clothes! I definitely didn't use to change my outfit multiple times in one day but it has now become a thing. Are you the same way? My Stylebook app is looking a little crazy on the weekends, haha.

I pull out my favorite t-shirt dress by Everlane pretty much every chance I get. It appears as though it was re-released recently (the collar on the new black and white striped dress is solid black), so hopefully the fit didn't change because I may or may not be considered another color. If I'm being honest, though, I don't get to wear any of my dresses enough so I'm going to try to calm the voice in my head telling me that I need another. Haha. I still highly recommend this dress if you want your own extremely comfortable, not-at-all clingy or confining t-shirt dress! (Bonus: I didn't have any Marilyn moments in the crazy wind!)
