Grey All Day
And just like that, I’m back to wearing shades of grey and black—ha. As much as I love and am totally open to wearing brown now, I’m not sure I’ll be able to quit wearing grey anytime soon! I used my “grey ombré” title back in May for this post, but this outfit is actually a better representation of grey ombré with the light grey blazer, slightly darker top, washed black jeans, and black loafers.
Oh, and my top is actually a bodysuit. It’s my first one! (Well, second…but it’s the first worn I wore out. I returned the tank bodysuit I bought because I think I need a size up. This one is just a little too tight so I probably should have returned this one, too…) I know I’m super behind with this trend; I honestly wasn’t sure how much I’d like it, but I see the point now. It’s so amazing to not have to worry about tucking my top perfectly! I have plans to wear it with my paperbag pants and perhaps also my wrap midi skirt. It’ll go with pretty much anything, honestly. I’ll probably end up purchasing it in black, too (in a size up). If you’re in the market for this one from Madewell (which is currently 25% off, FYI), I’d recommend sizing up or taking the larger of your two sizes if in between. It’s pretty tight on me in my usual size. I thought I had a short torso but this one is borderline too short on me on the longest snaps, so I’m thinking maybe I have an average-length torso after all?
How are you doing a week before Thanksgiving? I honestly can’t wait for another brain break AND all the amazing food. First, I need to get through the next week which includes cleaning the house! Ah!
