Colorful Corduroy
Fall is wrapping up around these parts, and part of me is bummed that winter is at our doorstep and part of me is excited because it’s December and the holiday season! We picked out our tree this past weekend (it was snowing!), and my mom helped me hang the ornaments after I got the lights situated (Korri helped me a little bit with the lights but for the most part it’s my job since I learned how to do them after watching my dad when I was younger…and I still messed up one strand, but it’s too late to fix them now haha).
I feel like I’ve been wearing a lot of neutrals this fall—actually, I know I have because they make up the majority of my closet; they’re what I feel most comfortable in—so I decided to mix it up and wear some bolder colors in the same outfit. This color combination isn’t too out of the box for me, really: I love a good blue and green color combination (especially when plaid is involved). These green pants could turn holiday really quickly with a red sweater or red plaid flannel shirt. ;)
Did you do much damage this past weekend with all of the sales? BFCM is always so overwhelming! I’ll admit that I placed wayyy too many orders for myself (definitely over my clothing budget for winter already) and still need to figure out a few more gifts. I’m sure that I missed a sale on something that would make a perfect gift! That always seems to happen to me…
