Olive spring
I cannot get enough of olive right now. Pretty much all I want to wear are my olive skinny jeans, as shown here, or my olive ankle boots (seen in the previous post), or my olive-esque cashmere sweater (last seen here). I’m really feelin’ that darker, earthy shade of green right now. It acts as more of a neutral in my wardrobe and goes with anything (I know bloggers say that a lot about everything, but it is definitely true for me in this case). It reads as more of a fall/winter color but I predict I’ll continue wearing it through at least this spring, too! I’m not one to wear certain colors only in certain seasons but in general I am drawn to different colors in different seasons.
I didn’t realize this until after the fact, but this outfit is almost a repeat of this outfit that I wore back in January. The only difference is the pair of jeans! The look from January is still a favorite of mine, but I like how this look came together too—with the olive jeans, of course. Hope you don’t mind if I accidentally repeat outfits like this…haha! I try not to (at least not within only a couple months’ time) but sometimes it happens, especially because I blog my real life outfits.
We got our first true spring thunderstorms tonight!!! I’m really hoping that this spring is a repeat of last year: lots of fun thunderstorms (plus all the sunny and warm days in between, please). I mentioned in my winter budget post how I’m on the lookout for a practical rain coat/jacket and I think I may finally order one this weekend…I’ll take any and all suggestions! I was told L.L.Bean was a good option and am definitely looking for something functional but also cute. ;)
