One and the Same

I’m unintentionally wearing almost exactly the same outfit that I wore and blogged a year ago… Everything is the same except for the top, which is a new addition I bought this month at the Mall of America (well, purchased in store but shipped to my house because it wasn’t in stock). Part of me is annoyed about my lack of originality, but part of me is pleased because I’ve pretty much nailed my personal style even if it is predictable.

I know I just blogged a different blue striped shirt a couple of weeks ago (eep), but I saw this one on the Madewell website and couldn’t get it out of my mind. I figured it was just different enough with its short sleeves, wider stripes, and cropped length to warrant adding it to my wardrobe…right? ;) I’m drawn to all of the cropped tops/shirts/sweaters right now because they play so nicely with the high-rise denim and pants that I also have been adding to my wardrobe recently! Speaking of, my summer clothing budget post will be published on Friday and I’m nervous to come clean about how much I’ve spent the past three months. Someone needs to hide my debit card!
