Farmers Market Morning
Early weekend mornings to visit the farmers market call for an easy striped tee dress. When it’s 70°F first thing in the morning, you know it’s going to be a hot day! I have to actively tell myself to wear clothes other than this dress…it’s just too comfortable! Sadly, since starting my job a couple of years ago, the more casual side of my spring/summer wardrobe (including most of my shorts, skirts, and dresses) has been a bit neglected. I find myself being drawn to the same items over and over again on the weekend. I know that means that I should cull my wardrobe a little bit, but I’m still attached to most of those items!
I picked up this straw circle tote bag in the & Other Stories sale that started back in June but haven’t gotten a chance to wear it until now, and now it’s sold out. Wah-wah. It’s a perfect size for swinging by the farmers market, but only if I don’t plan on picking up a lot of produce! I’ve been bringing my large Madewell Insiders tote to the market (along with my reusable produce bags) because I’ve been buying a bunch of veggies that fill it up. I love the contrasting cognac shoulder straps on this tote. I would have thrown on my straw hat with this outfit, but I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with too many straw items, haha.
