I can’t believe I went almost all of fall without pulling out my olive skinny jeans. WHO AM I?! Lol. This is what happens when I rarely leave the house, I guess. I did end up having to run a quick errand this past weekend, so I dressed up for the occasion. As much as dressing up means nowadays, that is. (I hadn’t turned on my car in nearly three weeks, so it was high time to make sure it still worked!)

I’ve worn my new Everlane ReNew teddy bomber a few times since I got it last month, mostly in hastily thrown together WFH outfits but I did wear it out once prior to this outfit for a grocery store run. It’s a great lightweight jacket for the transitional fall days and, in addition to tees, can easily be layered with sweaters and sweatshirts with thinner sleeves. I haven’t tried to layer another coat on top of the jacket, but I’d imagine it wouldn’t be terribly comfortable unless you picked a coat with wide sleeves. The slightly dropped shoulders would make arm mobility an issue if you wore a more fitted coat over top.

Unfortunately, the bomber is almost sold out…but check out the rest of Everlane’s ReNew line! I also own the ReNew fleece raglan sweatshirt (review here). The fleece items are so warm, but cat hair sticks to them like crazy and is near impossible to get off, just FYI. I’ve since realized it’s a losing battle.

Including the jeans, this outfit features entirely standout all-season favorites from years past. It’s fun to give old items new life by freshening things up with a cozy new jacket!
