We’re knee deep in the holiday season, and I’ve got a couple of (virtual) holiday party outfit ideas for you with one of my newest wardrobe additions, the Amour Vert Russo dress in mulberry. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my saga with the Russo dress in stories. I originally ordered the dress in camel (that was the only color offered at the time), and it didn’t work for me at all. It definitely gave off robe vibes instead of cute and comfy WFH dress vibes. When Amour Vert released the dress in mulberry, I immediately placed a second order. I LOVE it! It’s the perfect dress for the holiday season (and fall/winter/spring in general, since it’s fleece-lined)!

First up, I added a pair of gold flats and coordinating gold hoops for a dressy holiday party. Of course, real shoes are definitely the most unnecessary part of any virtual party outfit. I added them just for fun but would probably go without or wear slippers, as shown in my second outfit! In the second outfit, I also wore a fun beanie and made a fresh mug of peppermint hot chocolate—YUM! That’s my favorite drink for the holiday season. It just never gets old! Being comfy and cozy during the holidays is my preferred way to be, so I think I’ll be opting for outfits most similar to the second outfit for my parties.

The Amour Vert Russo dress is now available in THREE colors—mulberry (shown), camel, and black! The mulberry and black colors feature fleece on the inside (what they call “luxe fleece”), and the camel color features fleece on the outside (“nouveau fleece”). I definitely prefer and recommend having the fleece on the inside—it’s much warmer and softer, which is what I wanted for that WFH-in-winter life! I’m typically a size XS or S in Amour Vert (most often XS), and I originally ordered a small in the camel but opted for an XS in the mulberry, which was the right choice. I’m borderline petite and I don’t think it’s too long on me, either, but I can’t run up and down stairs as easily, haha.
