Back in Black and White
Lately, I’ve been feeling the urge to share outfits without writing any copy…I’m struggling to come up with relevant topics to write about. Sometimes I just want to say, “Hey! This is what I wore. It’s pretty much my typical outfit, as you know.” and be done but I feel pressure to always provide some sort of useful information in my posts. I know I don’t provide useful information in all of my posts as it is now, but it’s hard to read other blogs and not compare what I do with what everyone else seems to do so well. Perhaps that takes some more planning which I neglect to do because I’m doing other things (working, trying to clean up the house, taking care of my cats, spending time with Korri or my family, planning trips, eating, sleeping…lol). I’m also not doing this full-time so I don’t get to dedicate as much time as those that do blog full-time. I suppose this means I should stop comparing myself to them.
Look at that—a whole paragraph basically came out of nowhere! Haha. Sometimes I just run out of words relating to what I’m wearing and it’s hard to pull a post out of that even if I have an outfit I want to share. I’ve been doing this for six years and it’s feeling like I’m repeating myself a lot! I hope that no matter what, I can provide some inspiration and feel relatable to you. I had fun last weekend putting together new outfits to wear and share here so I definitely still enjoy (most of) this blogging thing. :)
Anyway, I suppose I can talk about what I wore a little bit. We had a recent warm day with a few morning showers, hence the rain boots. I was fine without a coat in the afternoon, though, which was a welcome change! I’ve been relying on my sweaters so much that I decided to pull out a trusty flannel shirt. This exact one is no longer available but I found a few similar options and included them in the widget below. I’ve been wearing these earrings a lot recently to add some much-needed bling!
