Shades of Pink
Ah yes, what's Valentine's Day without wearing an outfit with as many shades of pink as possible? ;) The holiday was the perfect excuse to break out my pink denim and pair it with a fun pink sweater. The last time I wore these jeans was a year ago in a different Valentine’s Day-inspired look! I didn't wear this exact outfit today (I'm a little worried that the pink denim is too close to my skin tone to wear it to work); I actually wore this outfit last weekend. I did wear this sweater and beanie combination again today. You know it’s a good one when it’s on repeat! Sans the beanie, this outfit would actually work really well in the spring, too!
This sweater was my first foray back into the chenille trend that became popular the past few years. I love the dimension in the knit; it's definitely more exciting than wearing a plain cashmere sweater! I’ve worn this sweater 18 times since purchasing it in fall of 2018. That doesn’t seem like many times considering I’ve owned it for over a year now, but I do have over 20 sweaters and I cycle through them pretty regularly throughout fall, winter, and spring. I like options, as you can tell.
I hope you are (were) feeling the love today! You deserve it! :) xoxo
