Orange you glad it's (almost) spring?
We’ve had quite the spring-like weather recently (hit a new record high of 71°F yesterday!), but even though it’s officially meteorological spring and I want the cold to be done for the season, I’m not totally convinced that winter has left us for good. It always seems like winter goes out with a bang, haha. Still, I’ll be wrapping up my winter outfits here shortly, and I’m super excited for the change in seasons and new outfit opportunities!
You’ll definitely be seeing a lot more of these jeans going into spring…and I wouldn’t be surprised if the sweater, boots, and bag made an appearance next season, too (and the coat if the temps drop!). It’s important to me to have many items in my closet that work for more than one season. I wear these jeans way more than I was expecting I would! Over the past three months, these were my third-most-worn pair behind my washed black skinny jeans and (very old but still kickin’) legging jeans. I typically reach for skinny jeans the most in the winter because that silhouette works best with boots.
I need to spend some time this weekend planning and shooting outfits in addition to doing other important things like cleaning the house, watching gymnastics meets, listing things on Poshmark, sleeping in…the list goes on! I’m bummed we’re losing an hour with the start of Daylight Saving Time but thrilled for the later light in the evenings because I’ll finally be able to shoot outfits after work again! Woo! Hope you have a great weekend!
