Madewell summer sale picks for work from home and casual weekends — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

While writing Wednesday’s post about my love for Madewell’s curvy denim, I noticed that Madewell bumped up their sale promo to an extra 40% off (with select items at an extra 50% off)! I combed through it and am now very tempted to purchase some new summer goodies… (I’ve been good and only purchased one new item this month so far!) I rounded up my favorites in the collage above, and below, you can find the things I own that are also included in the sale.

I honed in on the items that I thought would be perfect to wear to work from home and for the casual errand run or socially-distanced weekend get-together. I also tried to focus on natural fabrics as much as possible. I’m extremely tempted by the black cotton-linen blend v-neck dress; I’m just not sure if I’d prefer a size XS or small! I personally own the Bradley cardigan in two colors, and it’s such a great basic that I’m tempted to buy a third in this gorgeous dusty pink colorway. The striped cotton-linen pants are the same style as the pants I purchased late last summer for my trip to the Cook Islands!

My other fun summery picks include a striped “easy” dress (with a fun detail on the back), basic white denim shorts (also available in curvy), a bold floral blouse (it’s cotton!), strappy leather sandals, and a set of four dotted enamel hair pins.
