2023 BFCM Sale Guide!
Welcome to the 2023 CCCH Black Friday/Cyber Monday (aka BFCM) Sale Guide! The vast majority of the Black Friday sales start earlier and earlier every year. At this point, are they even BF sales if they aren't or don't start on the Friday after Thanksgiving? Ha. Also, I’m annoyed by all the retailers that refuse to tell us the end dates of their promos.
I tend to get REALLY overwhelmed with all of the sales at this time of year. (Highly recommend reading my tips for tackling holiday sale season if you're feeling similarly!) That said, some of the discounts are excellent and worth taking advantage of if you've been planning a purchase, and I wanted to share some of my favorites (and also write them down in a more permanent place than my email newsletter so that I can keep track of the deals year over year).
I rounded up the BFCM sales I'm shopping (and what I'm buying) plus a few other noteworthy sales that are worth mentioning just in case you had your eyes on something! I hope this guide is more helpful than just staring blankly at (or frantically clicking through) the hundreds of emails coming through every day. Bombas — 25% off sitewide through 11/27 (old: 20% off) — I ordered my first pairs of Bombas ankle socks in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year and LOVE them. They were the sock MVPs of my Europe trip. I ordered a few more pairs (no-show socks, ankle socks, and calf socks) a couple of weeks ago when they were doing 25% off sitewide. That deal is officially back as of late Thanksgiving day (11/23)!
Dagne Dover — 25% off sitewide through 11/29 — I haven’t been following the brand for long, but from what I recall, this is the best deal I’ve seen. (All the blogger codes I’ve seen are 20% off.) Read my Dagne Dover reviews and shop the Landon carryall, Arlo tech organizer, Ace fanny pack, and Indi diaper backpack. Next on my list is the Dakota backpack!
Nisolo — 40-70% off sitewide + free shipping for a limited time (old: 30-70% off) — This is one of the best sitewide promotions you’ll see at Nisolo and a great time to pick up a new pair of beautiful shoes! My open toe clogs (run TTS) and flatform sandals (recommend a half size up) are great warm weather options. I purchased a pair of huarache sandals (TTS) and lug chelsea boots (go up a half size) for myself when Nisolo ran 30% off sitewide a couple of weeks ago.
Zappos — up to 50% off select styles for a limited time — Zappos is great place to shop for shoes; they carry so many name brands, and shipping and returns are free! Plus, since they’re owned by Amazon, you can get free 2-day shipping if you have Amazon Prime. I’ve had my eyes on these loafers for a couple of months now… I’m thinking it’s time to bite the bullet and try ‘em for myself!
Other Noteworthy BFCM Sales
ABLE — 40% off sitewide through 11/27 — This is honestly the best sale I’ve seen at ABLE. I love the apparel I’ve purchased from them; my Mae drapey tee (comes in black and white) is included. I’m not sure if they’ve changed it since, but my “white” tee is more off-white. I still have my eyes on the popular Merly denim jacket, which has rave reviews because it’s soft and stretchy compared to other, more “classic” denim jackets.
Brightland — up to 30% off + free shipping for a limited time — I LOVE BRIGHTLAND! Their flavored olive oils are fabulous. And they rarely (if ever?) offer sales like this, so it’s a great time to pick up your own The Artist Capsule (I love all four flavors). The set of Artist Capsule minis would make a great gift! This is a “buy more, save more” type of deal.
Everlane — up to 50% off almost everything through 11/27 — Remember when Everlane sales used to be rare? There are lots of great items that are 30-50% off now, including this cotton sweater, curvy way-high skinny jean, and curvy 90s cheeky jean. Note that items at 50% off or more are final sale. I own the cashmere scarf in black, and it’s now 40% off.
Girlfriend Collective — 35-60% off sitewide for a limited time (old: 30-60% off through 11/23) — Take 30% off (now 35% off) sitewide and up to 60% off select sale styles! I’ve had my eyes on a fleece (I love the cropped half zip style and the hoodie style), and the sweatsuits look absolutely dreamy. I also love their bike shorts (with pockets, of course).
J.Crew — 50% off sitewide + free shipping through 11/28 (old: up to 50% off + free shipping through 11/25, up to 50% off through 11/22) — I pretty much only shop at J.Crew when things are 40-50% off (or more—especially because I don’t have a local store anymore and returns are not free, boo). They’re offering an updated version of my favorite pom-pom beanie for fall/winter, and now is a great time to grab a sweater blazer (or two)!
Madewell — 60% off select styles + 50% off sitewide through 11/28 (old: 50% off through 11/26, 40% off through 11/22) — I have not ordered anything because I’m waiting to see if the sale goes to 50% off sitewide like it did last year (IT’S BACK AGAIN), but I have my eyes on these ankle boots. Aren’t they gorgeous?! I don’t need another pair but GAH they’re so pretty. (The one review might deter me from ordering them, though.) I also love this tee (it looks so much like a tee I wore as a kid) but it seems to be excluded from every promo. Denim and my favorite transport tote are included, though!
MATE the Label — 30% off sitewide for a limited time — MATE the Label is spendy, and I love indulging in a few new pieces when they have a sale! I love everything I’ve purchased from the brand so far, including their tencel sleepwear (read my sleepwear review) and thermals (read my tee and thermals review). I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any of their garments. They’re beautifully constructed with such high quality fabrics.
Sephora — 30% off select brands daily through 11/27 — Every day through next Monday, there are one to two brands each day that are 30% off (there are other Black Friday deals up to 50% off, too; check the app to preview those now or wait until they go live!). Sunday Riley will be 30% off on 11/23 (Thanksgiving) and Kiehl’s will be 30% off on 11/25. Kiehl’s is one of my favorites; read my reviews to prep for the sale!
