Fall 2024 Wardrobe Additions
This past fall was one of my lighest quarters of new clothing additions ever! It’s especially surprising to me because September is my birthday month, and I usually cannot resist a good sale with a birthday coupon stacked on top. This year, I was able to ignore all those sales and didn’t purchase ANYTHING in September. I purchased a few things in October and a couple of things in November (using gift cards or credit, so they were free to me!).
Below, I rounded up everything I added to my wardrobe this past fall! All of my 2024 clothing purchases are being added to this Pinterest board. I also shared the items I tried and returned and what’s coming up for winter!

Fall 2024 Clothing Budget & Wardrobe Additions
$600 (quarterly budget) = $600 - $177.50 ($0 September + $177.50 October + $0 November) => $422.50 left over
Items I added to my wardrobe:
Amour Vert Berkeley Long Sleeve Tee (paid $25 | originally $50)
I used an Amour Vert gift card to get myself a new red striped tee! I purchased this tee in size medium for my broad shoulders and long arms, and it fits a little loose through the body but the arm length is just right. I hope the sleeves don’t shrink in the wash!
Aquatalia Tilly Weatherproof Bootie via Poshmark (paid $209.50 | originally $450)
I already own these boots in brown (purchased winter 2020) and always wished I had a pair in black for when brown didn’t fit the rest of the outfit I had in mind. I found these NEW boots on Poshmark and used a bunch of my Poshmark credit to get them! I love them so much and have already worn them. They fit TTS for me.
Good American Good Waist High Waist Crop Palazzo Jeans (not pictured | paid $83 | originally $159)
You may remember that I purchased a pair of these jeans in the summer and needed to exchange them for the next size up. Well, I purchased the next size up when they went on deeper sale, and I still haven’t returned the old pair… because I’ve suddenly lost a bunch of weight, and now this new size might be too big. I’m not sure I’ll return them for fear of that weight coming back, so I’m including them in the budget this quarter, too.
Quince Ultra-Soft High-Rise Legging in heather charcoal, heather green, and heather merlot (paid $31.50 each | originally $40 each)
These were on sale and I needed some more leggings for barre classes, so I bought three pairs! I love all three colors, and they really are soft. There are no pockets. They have kind of annoying tags on the side but they don’t bug me during class once I have them laying right. Size medium fits well (and even fit me at my heavier weight too!).
Items I tried and returned:
I didn’t return anything I bought this quarter!
What’s on deck for fall:
MATE the Label recently released a few products in a new dark green color called thyme, and I immediately wanted at least one item in it! I ended up going for the quarter zip sweatshirt during their 30% off sale. By the time I ordered, the medium was sold out, but going off of reviews, I think the small will be fine, too. Fingers crossed!
I wanted to hit the free shipping threshold, so I purchased a couple of these tanks (in espresso and black, size small). I’ve found that I like wearing snug tanks in lieu of a bra on my WFH days and weekends at home, and I think these will be perfect.
Quince Denim (Straight Jeans and Wide Leg Jeans)
I mentioned earlier that I recently lost a bunch of weight (not intentionally…) and can fit into my older pairs of jeans, which are almost all skinny jeans. I don’t want to spend a lot on new jeans for fear of the weight coming back again, and I’ve been wanting to try Quince’s denim offerings…so now may be the time. (I’m also stalking Poshmark for secondhand jeans.)
I own two of these fleece jackets (one in size small, one in size medium), and I purchased the light grey in size small when it was on sale recently. I’m still waiting for my order to ship!
Along with the fleece jacket, I also ordered this long coat because it was also on sale, and I’ve been wanting a long coat for those below-freezing winter days. I purchased this coat in beige, size medium. I’m a little worried about it being too big. I have another Uniqlo coat in size XS (thought it was a small ha) and it fits but is a little snug in my shoulders when I wear a thicker layer underneath. The small was sold out. So…we’ll see! Fingers crossed!
