Army green + navy gingham
One of my favorite parts about fall is getting to wear my army green utility jacket--with everything. Because it goes with everything. As I was thinking up outfits these past couple of months, I envisioned a lot of them with this jacket, and then I promptly decided that I needed to mix it up (hence the leather jacket purchase). This was one of the outfits I had planned, even though, yes, it involves my white denim. (Are you even a style blogger though if you don't wear white in the fall/winter and talk about "breaking fashion rules"? Side note: I always thought those "fashion rules" only applied to jeans/pants for some reason and not necessarily tees, sweaters, or even skirts... Am I wrong?)
Anyway, what's more fall than army green and navy gingham? To top it all off, I went matchy-matchy with my navy ankle boots. (These babies have had a number of outings since I got them!) I'll be honest and say that I wore this over the weekend and didn't end up going anywhere except out to take photos, but this is totally grad-school-worthy, as the majority of my outfits are (and it's worth repeating!).
