White-washed

Yesterday was the first day of spring according to the astronomical calendar. Now if only the weather would cooperate and bring us some consistent warmth! Once again, it's supposed to rain and snow this week. At least we had some nice weather over the weekend. How's the forecast looking in your neck of the woods? Anyone else living through a winter that is overstaying its welcome? ;) Every year—no fail—I wish that we would have the perfect spring. And every year, we get the same kind of spring: winter one week, kind of spring the next, then winter, then summer, then back to winter, etc. You'd think I'd stop being hopeful.

I could not wait to wear this outfit once I put it together in my head a few weeks ago! I love the combination of light mint and white, and to take the outfit up a notch, I added my new J.Crew 'Gemma' flats in metallic gold! How perfect are they?! I was actually surprised by the comfort of these flats; I was nervous about them rubbing my feet, but I've worn them twice and haven't experienced any discomfort yet. They're also wide enough for my above-averagely-wide feet. I'm excited to wear them a lot more this spring and summer!
