A new me
This past weekend, I got my hair highlighted! They're just partial highlights around my face, but I feel like a whole new person. I haven't had color in my hair in years (I think high school was the last time). I decided that I would love to do full highlights when I have a real job and a bit more disposable income. ;) It's fun being super blonde! I'm also experimenting a bit with the eyebrow pencil I bought in Sephora's sale last month. The ends of my brows are a bit sparse, and I've been using it to fill in other places, too. It's a bold look that I'm still getting used to. I came across a photo of me from three years ago, and my eyebrows were perfect; I wish I could get them back! Ha.
A dip in the temperatures earlier this week led me to pull some inspiration from this pin for this outfit. (Or...you know...copy it... It's just too good!) I love how the leather jacket "edges up" the gingham shirt a bit. A garment that is a staple in preppy outfits has another side to it, apparently. Kind of like me, since I'm feeling quite sassy with my new hair. ;)
