Athleisure at work
Happy Friday! I don't know about you, but to me, these past few weeks have been absolutely flying by for some reason. When Friday comes around, I immediately look forward to the next Friday, and it feels like every Friday has come around quicker than usual since August started. Normally, the weeks feel like they're dragging. Maybe I'm just busier? Who knows, haha. We're already over halfway through the month which is kind of hard to believe!
In honor of yet another Friday, here's an outfit I actually wore earlier this week but could totally work for a (super) casual Friday/weekend situation. These sneakers are my newest footwear addition thanks to Earth (but without any outfit post strings attached). As I expected, they are incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I wore this look to help my brother move into his dorm room and also at work and had no issues minus some minor rubbing near my ankle and heel. I wore flats the other day that also rubbed so I think I need to build up my callouses again after wearing sandals all summer!
I've been wearing my latest sweatshirt obsession from Everlane pretty much since my road trip last month. It's has become a workhorse in my work uniform (pun intended?), especially on days when I just can't GAF and don't want to be shivering all day so I wear an outfit like this one! The downside to being obsessed with a light-colored sweatshirt is the fact that I seem to stain it very easily. Somehow I managed to stain it after these photos even though I just washed it last weekend. I guess I'll just have to wear it around the house until I get around to doing laundry again... :)
