Pumpkin season
It’s now the time of year when it’s socially acceptable to dress like a pumpkin, and I’m not mad about it! I’ve had this sweater for a few years now, and every fall it makes an appearance—it’s the color of a pumpkin and of the changing leaves, so how can I not wear it?! I thought it paired perfectly with my new pair of olive green boots. ;)
These beautiful suede boots are the Earth ‘Keren’ boots. I’ve become a fan of Earth’s boot selection over the years, and I loved these from the moment I saw them. If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember me putting up a poll on Insta stories because I had the hardest time deciding between these boots in olive, burgundy, or charcoal grey. They’re all gorgeous, and any of those pairs would have gone well with my closet. That poll didn’t help, and I think it took me about 10-14 days to make a decision, constantly going back and forth…yikes! (Did I mention I’m a libra?)
So far, I’m happy I went with a more exciting color (for me, at least). Olive is a quintessential neutral color in the fall and winter, so I think it will go with the majority of my closet. In true Earth fashion, they are easy to walk in and incredibly comfortable. There’s no zipper, which I was kind of worried about at first but they aren’t difficult to get on (I took my usual size 7). They are slightly more difficult to remove due to the lack of zipper. I wore my go-to Smartwool socks just to see if they would peek out the sides (they did…sometimes), but I don’t mind wearing these without socks, either. I predict that these beauties will get plenty of wear throughout this pumpkin season and many pumpkin seasons to come!
