Link Love, vol. 13
Happy Monday! I spent the weekend chilling at home and getting sunburned at a softball game. How was your weekend? Let’s kick off the work week with some distraction-worthy links, shall we? ;)
Have you watched Jeopardy recently? James Holzhauer is UNREAL. He has won 22 games in a row and racked up over $1.6 million in winnings (right behind Ken Jennings). I enjoyed reading about his gameplay strategy (via Vulture) and how it relates to his profession (as well as his trick for learning trivia) (via The New York Times).
I absolutely adore everything that Anna wears (THIS OUTFIT!), but I really loved seeing her master walk-in closet (a dream) and master bathroom renovation. They make me wish I could buy and redo a house myself!
If you find yourself “saving” your best or favorite pieces for special occasions like I do (and find decluttering difficult), you should read this post by Courtney Carver of Be More With Less.
I found myself nodding while reading this article via Quartz about how time feels like it flies by as one ages. Do you feel the same way? I’m in shock every time a new month rolls around and still can’t believe it’s already May!
If you have some time to kill, I really enjoyed this piece by Vox about the things we do now that will be unthinkable in 50 years. I agreed with many of the topics, and there were others that I hadn’t even considered. This piece definitely got me thinking!
Alissa is in the midst of planning her wedding, and even though I’m not close to planning a wedding, I think I agree with her list of wedding traditions that she’ll be ditching. If you’re planning a wedding, check out her wedding budget template. I pinned it for later reference!
I’ve been trying to list items like crazy on my Poshmark. I’m currently planning on writing a post about my tips as a seller! If there’s anything you want to know specifically, please let me know.
A little spring wish list: cotton-linen drawstring pants by J.Crew Factory (I couldn’t decide between navy and faded moss so ordered both in the hopes of liking one color more), a conversational cat print silk top by Amour Vert (would buy this so fast if it were made in cotton or modal), cotton twill shorts in bone by Everlane (I’m also planning to order the denim shorts in bone to compare), an air oversized crew tee by Everlane (maybe to sleep in?), and linen pants by Everlane (‘tis the season!).
