Late Spring Layers
Now that I’m leaving the house a little more often (maybe once on Saturdays and once on Sundays), I’m back to dressing in “real” outfits. I am now planning outfits and dressing up to run even the smallest of errands. Ha! My work from home wardrobe is still very much tees, sweatshirts, leggings, and sweatpants. I have gained some weight, and I think it’s because I’m no longer walking two flights of stairs at least twice a day. And it doesn’t help that my home “desk” is in the dining room, right next to the kitchen, and when I’m bored I have a tendency of wandering in there and mindlessly opening the fridge…
My office is putting together a plan to bring folks back in, but nothing is very clear right now, so I’m sort of just waiting to see if I need to go back. I’m guessing I’ll be able to stay at home indefinitely because my whole desktop setup is home (except for my four monitors, and I don’t have a laptop to go back and forth), and my boss is also not in any hurry to get back into the office. Did I mention that cases are increasing here again now that everything has opened up? Who could have predicted that? /sarcasm
Anyway, I’m looking forward to sharing more regular outfit posts! How have you been holding up the past few weeks? Are you still taking things slow with the pandemic or have you been getting out of the house, visiting family, and/or traveling?
