Pink // Navy
Happy Friday! Another week of work from home down, an indefinite number of weeks to go. Ha. When I left the office back in March, I grabbed a few things that I use and reference regularly but left all of my personal things. I’m considering going back to grab my photos and degrees and to see if anyone snatched my small stash of hand sanitizer.
If I do end up staying home for a while, I’ll have to figure out if I can get my four monitors home…I only have one with me, and forecasting is a whole lot easier when I can look at multiple things at once. I’m just not quite sure where four monitors will fit in my house! I have to be connected to our internet via an ethernet cable, so I’m stuck on the main level with our router.
The most exciting part of June so far (if you can call it exciting) is the active weather we’ve been having; one day it’s 95°F and the next, it’s 65°F and raining. Gotta love cold fronts! They’re a lot more fun than persistent hot weather for sure. We’ve had a few storms, but not nearly as much as I wish we had. We keep barely missing out on the good storms. Eastern Oregon and eastern Idaho both get a lot of good storms while we’re stuck in the middle with nothing. Sigh.
Anyway, this is an outfit I put together on one of those 95-degree days. We shot this outfit in the morning, and I was already starting to sweat through it (gross, I know). I pulled out one of my loose linen blend tops for the occasion. I love the color palette—blue and pink remind me of cotton candy, and I’m a fan of how the pink hat and sandals bookend the outfit.
