Leafy Green
Would you believe me if I told you I wore this outfit specifically to match the location? Ha! It’s kind of funny how well I blend into the background, and I didn’t even notice until I sat down to edit the photos.
This easy summer outfit was brought to you by my green linen swingy tank top and black pull-on shorts, two warm weather closet MVPs. There’s something about green and black together that give me heart eyes…which I suppose is why my new blog color scheme includes both green and black! It’s not a color combination I think to wear that often, especially in the summer, when I usually opt for a lighter palette made up mostly of light blues and creamy whites (in years past, at least…this year has been a different story all the way around).
Anyway, I don’t have much else to say today. I’m trying to be better about creating “useful” content that is helpful and/or interesting, but sometimes I just wanna share an outfit and not rack my brain for enlightening things to say when it’s after midnight, you know?! It’s such a blogger problem. Side note: I just had to Google whether or not it was “rack my brain” or “wrack my brain”. Apparently both are acceptable but “rack” is used more widely. I guess that’s mildly helpful and/or interesting? We’ll call it a Friday fun fact.
Are you shopping any sales this weekend (or beyond)? I’m thinking about sharing what I’ll order in the Sephora sale ($15 off $75, $20 off $100 for Beauty Insiders) and maaybe the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but TBH everything I want/like is usually sold out prior to public access (which starts on the 19th and that’s when I can shop as I don’t have a card) so I haven’t really looked at anything... (Last year, I shared my past NAS purchases.)
